Corpse Party -Rebuilt- is the fan based remake of the original Corpse Party developed by an anonymous member of a Japanese message board, faithfully adding only improved graphics and mechanics, and extending one of the endings.

Was really cool to see the roots of this franchise
Short and sweet with lots of soul, I enjoyed it a lot. Can definitely see how this kickstarted a subgenre.

the turn-based RPG jumpscare at the end though lol
this game has a kickass final boss theme, didn't expect that lol. the fm synth pc98 compositions sound great, but otherwise pretty forgettable game.
