The cute em up I’ve been waiting for! Love how playing different characters switches up the gameplay. Art style is fantastic, enemy design and variety is excellent. I do get tired of collecting the lanterns though. Would’ve loved to see some actual 3D levels like Rainbow Cotton, not just for lantern collecting segments

pretty fun, i suck at horizontal scrolling shmups but the music was great and the cutscenes were silly

This is the most content packed Cotton game. Each of the characters have fun different playstyles, alternate routes each playthrough that you get to choose and the music is so damn good. I still like Cotton 2 the best but this one is easily the second best game in the series. I managed to play through the entire game with every character in one sitting.

This is based for the mere fact that this includes a Cotton Nendoroid alone. Hope the game is as good as that, I'm not too jazzed about the 3D artstyle, I'm confused as to how the gameplay will work based on how they explained it, the fact it has 16 stages is a little concerning, and the 3D stages give me pause. I have complete faith in them, though, so I'll just wait and see.
