An excellent sampling platter for my favorite d20 combat engine. Lots of concessions, even outside of visuals, are being made for its small scope that I fully understand (god i wish archetypes were in, god i wish runes were properly implemented instead of this +1 shit, god i wish that it went past fucking level 4) but as an intro to the ruleset that doesn't require 3-6 other people it's great. Writing is as amateur as the VA, but when it's dealing with the aesthetics of laidback tabletop monster-mulching it honestly helps the atmosphere more than anything. Played with steam remote play with my gf and it was very, very fun to make her bear witness to my most psychotic powergamer tendencies while her capybara companion repeatedly showed me up anyways. If you have interest in Pathfinder 2e this is $5 and scratches the itch. Somebody please convince my GM to make the fucking switch from 1e. Please. Help me.
A fantastic adaptation of the Pathfinder 2nd Edition ruleset for a bargain price. The game looks like it belongs on windows 95 though in about every way it presents itself. Would love if someone came and made it look a bit less ugly. But a really nice way to play!
