Days Gone isn't ground breaking by any means, but it's undeniably fun to play. The further I progressed, the more devoted I became to upgrading my motorcycle and various weapons. Encountering a hoard of Freakers is absolutely terrifying and intense.
Pretty fun open world zombie game. The gameplay is a lot of fun and the horde mechanic is frightening (although they become easier to take down once you get more gear). The story is decent as well.
The only bad thing I can say about Days Gone is there's a bit of frame rate stuttering/fps drops when on the bike sometimes, and a few bugs too. But it's still playable.
Overall, though, I really enjoyed this on my two playthroughs. Definitely one of my favourite zombie games now.
Because of work and postgrad life, it took me a while to finish this. But that also allowed me to enjoy the journey. Big fan of the story, at least 75% of it. A huge world with plenty to do. My only gripe is there could have been a bit more tension with the freaks. Only the hordes were scary. In Dying Light for example, every zombie is scary. But would still highly recommend.
Good albeit it predictable story with a great cast and decent gameplay. However, the title suffers from performance issues and a number of other minor but distracting and hindering bugs even after many fixes and updates.
