Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 is a sports spin-off game in the Dead or Alive series and the sequel to Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. The title expands upon the activities available in the original, supplementing beach volleyball with additional beach-related minigames. DOAX2 features a two-week vacation mode, where the player can indulge in a variety of activities. Each day is broken up into three segments (morning, afternoon, and evening), where players can perform a single activity during each. The game puts a strong emphasis on friendship; players must befriend the other girls by buying them gifts they enjoy from the various stores on the island, playing pool-hopping and playing butt battles. Doing so will increase the bond between the two characters.

I forget if I actually ever played the game itself. More importantly, my college roommates and I are locked in an eternal struggle where we've been slipping the same copy into each other's shelves for years. It's like Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, but with a lot more subterfuge and a lot less pants.

MTX in a game from 2006 like this is hilarious, its as advertised, come for the ogling at babes, stay for the strangely difficult minigames. Listen I bought this for $5 when I was 13, I'm not proud of it either.

I can earnestly say I only played this game for the casino, and never learned how to get good at any of the daytime minigames besides the color-coordinated square jump one. I didn't even know about the hidden strip tease thing with the slots, I was just genuinely a gambling addict with infinite amounts of free time and money. I have so many fond memories of listening to the fucking Eminem greatest hits CD of all things that I had burned onto my Xbox 360 while I spent countless hours just mastering poker, roulette, and blackjack.
