I loved this game as a kid on my first PC. It helped that I am also a fan of the Dinotopia books Going back to it on DOSBox-X, it has not aged well. Controls are cumbersome. Eg when forging metal with Tok Timbu, it is so easy to click the wrong area, which trigger Tok to give me a voiced, unskippable lecture. This makes what should be a simple task take over 5 minutes. The art is nice. Voice acting is overall good-ok, but again, there should be a way to skip it as mentioned above. Music is mediocre.
