This was an absoulte blind-purchase and when I read that this is only going to be a maybe 2 hours game I thought well then okay, Sunday game.

So first the positives. (only one thing) This game is maybe the first since years that was able to scare me. Only problem, it was mostly with senseless and very cheap jumpscares.

Now to the concept. The riddles and then hide and seek. Cmon guys, have you really ever been in an escape room? Those riddles were a joke, ridiculously easy, its mostly just walking around finding stuff. Then, when you have everything it was time to play hide and seek, yeah very fun duh. I really like to do the stupid riddles again when i loose the hide and seek part which is most likely to happen as in the beginning I had no idea the thing would appear and where I am supposed to go. So yeah. That was wasted money and wasted time. But at least someone planted a tree for me purchasing this copy (at least the game case said that)

Very dark title.. not the story but just visually, holy shit.
Also love the Math Puzzles (said no one)

A short and mostly sweet horror experience. The escape room concept is great and there's certainly a decent sense of fear to the proceedings, even if the plot was paper thin. The procedural generation of room layout and puzzle solutions would have been welcome; however the punishment for failing a room is always to start from the beginning of that room again, and as some of the loss-causing mechanisms aren't initially clear, reloading checkpoints becomes quite common, and repeatedly having to work out fresh maths-based solutions until you work out what's getting you killed didn't feel like the most fun way to bulk out a game.

Still, ultimately despite this, it's a short title. The more naturally the puzzles come to you, the more you'll enjoy yourself, though.

Had a fun time but could be better in so many ways. Poor story.
