It’s your typical hidden object game that looks pretty and is easy to get into. I’m a huge fan of those games but Doctor Who is a huge turn off for one reason. The game is very grindy. I’m already repeating the same puzzle over and over in order to advance the story. You have to collect dusts to be allowed to continue with the story and you have to repeat the same puzzles in order to create one dust. It’s one of those games that offer you lots of filler to keep you busy for a long time. Kind of like a live service game. Those kind of games re-use assets a lot but this one goes a step further and it just feels worse. It also doesn’t help that I still have tons of Artifex Mundi games to play that are premium and the kings in the genre.

If you want any game to get busy with, like Doctor Who and don’t have other hidden object games, then this might still be worth playing. But it’s possible you’re going to get sick of the genre after investing time into this. There are so many other options that are better than this.
