Donald Duck: Goin' Quackers is a colorful 3D platformer that lets you play as the iconic hot-headed duck. Join Donald on a quest to rescue Daisy Duck from the clutches of the evil magician Merlock. You'll traverse diverse levels, from a haunted mansion to the heights of the Himalayas, using Donald's tantrums to activate special powers. While the game boasts charming visuals and some fun platforming moments, it suffers from repetitive gameplay, awkward controls, and a short length that limits its appeal.
I grew up with the PlayStation version, but I played the Gamecube version earlier this year and I wonder if I might actually like it more. It was different enough that I actually found it somewhat challenging, although that is mostly because of the version differences breaking the sense of familiarity. The game itself isn't actually very challenging, but admittedly a few questionable decisions regarding the level designing and clunky platforming did manage to make me rage just a teeny tiny bit now and then.
