Doraemon: Nobita's Resident Evil 2 or Doreamon: Nobita no BIOHAZARD 2, is the sequel to the game of the same game and came out around 10 years after the first one.

Sprites and animations got better and the battle system improved. However, I disliked some of the puzzles in the game, because they didn't work well with RPG-Maker's limits/perspective or maybe sometimes the translations interfered with it.
In one of the puzzles, for example, you have to investigate an object from the backside. Now... This is a 2D game and if there is a pillar with an object on it, I'm only going to assume that the character is investigating the object itself, not that there might be something hidden in the backside of the pillar or that there might be something written. Not unless there might be a clue to it. Maybe a mirror or whatever. And when we talk about mirrors, that's the next thing. Remember when in the first game the character mentioned things at locked, but easily broken doors like: "I think I can break the lock with my weapons."? Well in this game you have to destroy a mirror, only that you don't know you can, because either the original hint is not helpful or the translation messed it up. Because the character will say something along the lines that it will come in handy for looking at your own clothes. Without a guide, I wasn't even sure that I can break that thing.
Also, some enemy placements were really mean, directly in front of the door. This wouldn't be a problem if the protagonist could travel between rooms with a weapon in the hand, but he can't. You can't avoid these attacks, because trying to walk around them triggers their AOE hit, and pulling out the gun makes you stand long enough for them to get close enough to you. You get a hit in both cases. This happens especially near the end with the Chimeras.
Now, there was also this one boss in the middle of the game. The boss' pattern was pretty simple to learn, but he tanks way too much ammo for what I had at this time, and I resulted to cheating in an ammo NPC. I had no problem with ammo in the first game, but in this game I actually ran out of all my ammo at two points. The first time was right before the first defense battle, and the second time was right at this boss. It doesn't help that the said boss is right after a survival-defense situation, where you have to defend against an oncoming horde together with Gian and Suneo.
And the translation... OH BOY. I'm sorry to Shadab and his team, but the translation bloooooows. Sentences often don't make any sense, punctuation is used at random at best, and made it very hard to follow the plot.

Even though there were improvements to the first game and the game really had its moments, I didn't quite like it as much as the first one.
