best mmo i've ever played
Absolutely goated MMO, too bad the west doesn't have it and we hardly get access on it (just the first two expansions, which at least acts as 2 full Dragon Quest games alright)
this is literally my dream MMO from the ~10 hours I've played of it. Coming back to it once I'm in the mood for an MMO
Having played all that's available in the free trial (up to abt patch 2.3?) it's a decent game. The v1 story is really nothing to write home about til the v end but has that classic DQ town-of-the-week structure, but v2 gets a bit more interesting. Combat can be a bit of a drag and I'm honestly not a big fan of this hybrid turn-based real-time system but it's decent enough.
I'm not convinced English speakers are necessarily missing out on some secret gem based off the trial, but from what I hear the story does get v crazy later on and it's a decent enough time if you like the MMO grind or really enjoy DQ.

I think this is one of the best base games I've played, it's kinda hard to say because I didn't play it on release, but just talking about what I've played I thought it was really neat and I loved the ending
dude i'm so fucking mad they never brought this over to the states officially this is like a top 3 dragon quest and i'm still playing through the second expansion
