Based on the Duel Masters Trading Card game in Japan, Duel Masters: Sempai Legends puts you in the role of a kohai (junior duelist). Your grandfather, a great Sempai (senior duelist), gives you a valuable Duel Masters card, which is soon stolen by a mysterious man. Now it is up to you to travel to nearby towns and villages in hopes of regaining the stolen property. Along the way, you'll face many opponents in Duel Masters tournaments with the hope of one day becoming a professional Duelist.

dont really think theres a game here like i played it a few times but i get to the ending real fast not gettign any new cards not caring bout anything in it, it gives me a deck i go from 1 dual to the next and thats it its old school yugioh but worse
REVIEW:
(Granit it's been years since i've played).
PROS:
-- It's a digital version of Duel Masters... That's a pro considering like no one irl knows what DM is, lol.
-- "It didn't crash" could be an upside/pro, considering new games like arceus crash for who knows what reason.
-- Decently enjoyable "gameplay", even though i give it all those Cons coming up, i still own the game and remembering having fun using a holy deck with a bunch of blockers/etc; though that could be a lot of nostalgia.
CONS:
-- You can tell this is meant for children, story is definitely not meant for higher thoughts.
-- Looks HORRIBLEE!! The Character models in-game look like if you had the bakugan character models and turned the resolution down, even though their both ps2. And the "cinematics"/etc look like if someone who's been animating for like a week was in charge.
-- Where's the music? from what i remember and/or see in video's, if your in a battle, there's no music at all, just beeps/boops for you putting in button presses, and if your in the mall you just hear like mall "music". If you are watching a video on someone playing/dueling in this game, it's legit the most boring thing ever as you don't have any music, you get like 5 seconds of a poor animation a monster attacking or being destroyed, repeat repeat...
-- Only 4 sets worth of cards; I understand it might of came out when only those 4 sets were out, but it's still pretty disappointing that a card game only has 139 cards, and there's 5 attribute so like 28 cards per attribute... Which like how could you have a one attribute deck of 40 minimum?? though it's been years i might of did what i do irl which is White/Green.

A good interpretation of the card game. The animations can get a little long winded during the matches but they look nice at least. If you do not know how to play duel masters, this game does a good job of explaining how to play and while it is not the best card game ever (Yu-gi-oh!), it is one of the better ones.

I can remember all the graphical errors this game had, sometimes I wonder if it had a plot besides the goth twins.
