Fun, fast-paced puzzle game. New hazards are constantly introduced, and the solutions can be quite clever. The music is extremely nostalgic for people who grew up with the GBA.

A lil' charming arcade game. There are some levels that you're forced to beat from the first second and otherwise you're dead, but other than that it's well designed.

Very fun little game! Music is nice and the gameplay is super addicting and simple

Check this game out alongside Adventure Island's other titles!

Completed with 100% of achievements unlocked. Duke Dashington Remastered gives every indication of being a Wario Land clone of sorts, from the pixelart and character design to the signature dash move, but in fact this is closer to a puzzle game of sorts, comprising a series of single-screen areas to traverse, entirely with dash moves. Typically only one series of moves will work, or perhaps a few minor variations, resulting in the puzzle-like feel, though there's still some extent of timing involved too. It all works quite nicely as a game that you can pick up for short bouts of play and its five worlds (each comprising 30 screens) can be beaten in about an hour, but it's enjoyable while it lasts, if unexceptional. A time trial mode adds replayability if seeking to perfect your play appeals.

Yes this is me doing a serious review for a mobile game. I dont play them very often, but I came across the only other review for this the other day and remembered that I tried out all the games from this developer at one point, and decided you know what I'll play them again. Why not.

And despite the measly 2/5, I think this game is actually pretty good for a mobile title. Its short and simple. Every level is 10 seconds long, everything kills you in one hit. You have to dash and jump across, solving little puzzles unique to the setting of whichever of the 5 worlds you are currently attempting. Its not super challenging but the instant respawn nature of it can make it kinda addicting., and its short 2 hour playtime makes it so it never feels like a drag. Unfortunately the mobile version fucking sucks.

There is nothing wrong with a free mobile game having ads. They're a necessity even for some developers. But this game just takes it way too far. Every 2-5 deaths or 2-3 levels you beat you will get an ad. This doesnt sound too bad but when its such a short game where you will die a lot just trying to figure out how a level works, this gets old really quick. Often these ads are unskippable 15 second ones. I am not joking when I say this game feels like it is 50% ads, and on a few of the more challenging later levels, it honestly felt like i was watching more ads then I was actually playing the game. You can pay to remove these ads, or buy it on steam for 4.99 and presumably have none at all. There are time trials to extend what you'll get out of this so maybe you'll prefer that option, but for such a short time you can get for free I imagine most people will just go with the mobile version, and its in an unacceptable state. Would of been a full star higher otherwise.

What a lovely wee puzzle platformer this is. Can bash the whole thing out in under an hour and it's got some fun little ideas. Really tickled the speedrunner part of my brain too.
