Amazing game!
Good game content.

Ohhh I'm getting spicy with this one. EU IV was a downgrade and I'm proud to say it

I played this game as a kid back in the late 00s and what I enjoyed the most was that menu, where you need to choose the start year and your nation on the global map. This was basically something like an interactive "the history of something every year/timelapse"-type video from YT. Apart from that, the actual gameplay wasn't that fun for me though. Especially after the total war games.

This is not a boomer opinion, as EU4 was my first game. I can say confidently that this game is much better than the EU4 base game. This game gets elevated higher with Death and Taxes, or MEIOU. Though I will say EU4 MEIOU and Taxes is a better game. But if you want vanilla, buy this. The graphics aren't nearly as bad as other PDX games.

would honestly be better than EU4 if not for cascading alliances making your life miserable and turning every border dispute into proto-WW1
