For what is supposed to be an April Fool's joke, there is a lot of effort put into Fighting EX Layer~Alpha. It's looks great on mobile devices, and what you'd think would be a gimmicky control scheme (Instead of touch controls, you use simple swipe commands instead) actually works better than most mobile games. It's a shame the game is only a joke, so there are only 4 playable characters, and no signs of further development on the title. It certainly has the potential to be a full blown and solid port of the console version of Fighting EX Layer.
