Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, from Craig McCracken (creator of The Powerpuff Girls) features the somewhat shy Mac and his imaginary friend, Blooregard Q. Kazoo. The game is inspired by memorable episodes from the Cartoon Network hit series and allows fans to control Mac and Bloo as they solve quirky challenges and complete mission objectives. The action takes place in and around Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and features many of the signature characters from the show including Wilt, Eduardo, Coco and more.

only things that are fun here are just because the show is fun. and even that starts to wear on you. i fw the theme song but i do not want to hear a midi of it for 2 hours

Just decided to play this on a whim yesterday and yeah it's not good. Most levels are just the same sort of fetch quests; the only meaningful difference is what the collectibles look like. This is not helped by the fact that the titular Home for Imaginary Friends serves as the setting of every level which, surprisingly enough, makes for some repetitively boring gameplay. At least the game's rather short.

That said, I think the show's imaginative (heh) art style and character designs are portrayed pretty well here. Mac and Bloo also control pretty nicely--that's more than I could say for other licensed games of the era! All in all, it's far from the bottom of the barrel, and if you're a fan of Foster's (like me), you might even get a kick out of seeing a handful of episodes being adapted into different levels. Not really worth playing other than that though.

This game is bad. Very bad. I do like how every level is from an episode from Seasons 1-3. The characters are designed well.

What I don't like is that this game is just an annoying fetch quest. Just going around the house doing random stuff. Boss battles are trash. The story for the levels are wrong. They aren't written exactly like they were supposed to be in the episodes. In the Busted episode, Bloo didn't mean to break Madame Foster's bust and felt bad for it. But in the level he acts like such a douche about it and blames others. The biggest problem is this game is that THERE ARE TOO MANY DOORS! They don't even tell you which door to go to. You have no indication if they are open or locked. It was honestly such a headache just to go through them. Dinner is Swerved... The worst level of this game. For some reason you have to not be seen by anyone, which in the original episode you were seen by others. Hell there isn't even a reason to have a stealth section, which is horrible I might add. Also the next part is just another gameplay mechanic that is annoying. Where you have to go through the stair rails and you have to not touch the stairs at all. If you do you have to start ALL OVER. Also there is a time limit so you have to rush through it. Also during that level there is that joke that happens in the show when Duchess makes Mac and Bloo start over at the beginning. But when you go through that door, YOU START ALL OVER WITH NO IDEA OF THAT HAPPENING. If this is added in to bring humor in the game, then it's doing it wrong.

1 star for making that annoying yellow fuck cry

why did cn want foster's home games? there's only 1 mission type and 1 map (excluding bosses), so you'll just be collecting whatever amount of a certain object, loosely based around episodes from the first 3 seasons. you will hear the foster's home theme played on loop with gba compression for 4 hours.
