Frogger: Ancient Shadow tries to modernize the classic arcade experience by turning Frogger into a 3D platformer. Unfortunately, awkward controls, frustrating level design, and a bland presentation make it a forgettable experience. While it retains the core "hop and dodge" gameplay, the cumbersome controls often lead to unintended deaths, and the levels lack the simple, satisfying charm of the original. There are a few moments of fun sprinkled in, but overall, Frogger: Ancient Shadow is a disappointing adaptation of a beloved arcade classic.

Tried it on a whim and now it’s made me want to try other frogger games

Good but felt rather rushed and the health system instead of lives felt like an odd choice
