Guinness World Records: The Video Game

released on Nov 07, 2008

Guinness World Records: The Videogame will allow players to experience the "thrill" of setting their own world records. This is done through "quick-fire action challenges" aka mini-games, doing anything from tightrope walking across the Grand Canyon to growing the world's longest, most disgusting fingernails.

Guinness World Records: The Videogame transforms the iconic record book into a wacky party game experience. You'll compete in zany, motion-controlled minigames based on real-world records, like fastest sandwich-making or longest time balancing on a beach ball. While the novelty can be fun for short bursts with friends, the controls are frequently imprecise and the minigame selection becomes repetitive quickly. Guinness World Records: The Video Game is ultimately a shallow experience with limited replay value.

A bland minigame collection that feels bad to control and lacks any interesting games.

i was so good at this game i literally had the world record scores at most of the minigames

A Guinness World Record game should make you feel like you're working as hard as possible, that you're getting ever so close to achieving that big record that could have you starring in one of the Guinness books itself.

Sure you wouldn't actually get one in person but it'd at least leave you satisfied somewhat.

All Guinness World Records: The Video Game does is just make you realise you're not really putting in much to get said record, you're just playing another crap minigame compilation...

because that's exactly what this game is.

You know, i remember playing this game with the family, and having fun like crazy with them...so this is a game that have a little place in my heart of gamer...and im kinda nostalgic to it

But it doesnt excuse the fact that this is terrible

Its litteraly shovelware quality, what else can i say? It use a lot of motion control that barely work, has a...weird art style...idk why i always thought that the game looks weird...the game has 36 minigame, which seems to be a lot...but in reality, they all bland in

Why have i decided to review this again?

Oh yeah, i rember: the european box art show a man lifting a car with his head...BUT ITS NOT IN THE GAME? IM SUPER DISAPPOINTED AND MY DAY IS RUINED

These records don’t count
