Game Review - by (wraith)

The Glory of Heracles was Data East’s answer to Dragon Quest. It’s basically the same type of RPG, just with an ancient Greek setting. It’s pretty cool. The series enjoyed a decent amount of popularity in Japan, spawning two NES games, two SNES games, and a Gameboy game. Beyond that, I can’t say much until some translating happens.
(editor's note: translating for this game happened in 2012 and 2021, some of the other ones also received translations, and Nintendo bankrolled and published in the west a new one in 2010)
