Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Hou+ is a remaster of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Hou, which contains all of the previous chapters from the series with additional songs, upscaled sprites, and a new scenario based on a mini-light novel chapter named Mehagashi-hen.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is a series I only got myself into just recently. And after a whole year of reading I finally finished reading through every chapter of Higurashi. While reading the first couple chapters I was going quite slow since I wasn't really into the Visual Novel genre back then. But this game practically reintroduced me into the genre.
Everything, the music, the characters, the visuals, the story, literally everything about Higurashi was an incredible ride through and through. It had its ups and downs, but most of the chapters (especially ones written by Ryukishi07 himself) are one of the most incredible pieces of media I've ever read.
In short, I can most definitely say that "Higurashi" is one of those few games that has truly changed my life. And I can't wait to see what Umineko no Naku Koro ni will bring to the table.
