Home is Where One Starts... is a short, first-person exploration game in the same vein as Dear Esther or Gone Home. It’s a story about childhood, hope, and the miracle of memory. You play as a little girl from a broken home somewhere in the American South.

Not my favourite walking simulator. I think this might make more of an impact on someone who grew up in rural America or someone older than me who is nostalgic for their childhood. I personally found it hard to relate to the main character which is a problem in a narrative walking simulator. This isn't a bad game it just wasn't for me.
Since I haven't played the game since 2015, I would hesitate to give it a star rating, but I did write a full review then which is available here: http://storycade.com/first-person-exploration-home-one-starts/
