Illvelo, also named Illmatic Envelope, is a vertical shmup initially released for the NAOMI arcade system by MileStone Inc. in 2008. It's mostly noticeable for its trippy level backgrounds, bizarre sound effects and wacky enemy visual designs.

This game is eye candy for your eyes. Though, seriously, this was a massive improvement in many directions for Milestone. Their shooters are so innovative and creative it's like they took their previous works and tweaked upon them a bit with Illvelo.
