Image Striker is a 2D vertical-scrolling shooting game. You can operate the fighter “Image Striker” to fire shots and destroy enemies. The fighter supports forward shooting and two pods. These pods can be switched forward, sideways and backward. You can also use 6 different types of head parts. By using the appropriate head parts according to the situation, you can enjoy the strategy. The game has a 6-stages long Arcade mode with 3 difficulty levels, and a 3-minutes long Caravan mode.

Simple game. The difficulty is all over the place (isn't linear) while still being simple enough, and there isn't much place for scoring unless you die a lot. Which it can probably happen on higher difficulties.
it feels alright, music's good, not really difficult at all, very much a 'free game on steam' type of shmup.
definitely weird difficulty spikes, like stage 2's boss is a real piece of work and feels like it has a billion health, stage 4's boss disintegrates with the laser and stage 5's boss can be killed by standing in front of it and a bit to the side and shooting without moving. wouldn't be an issue if the last stage wasn't a boss rush which feels like doubling down on bad design. dunno. a real 'in one ear out the other' game
