Impact Winter has an awesome idea – a desolate, snowy apocalypse, and you're just trying to keep your group alive. Exploring for supplies is tense, the atmosphere is super bleak, and there are some tough choices to make. But man, the controls are clunky, the missions feel repetitive, and it's way too easy to accidentally starve your whole team, which sucks. There's a lot of potential, but it just needed a bit more polish to feel truly satisfying.

A survival game that is sadly unavailable for purchase anymore. While it did have some issues with slow load times, these issues were greatly reduced on PS5. Too little, too late, I supposed. Despite that, this is still a pretty fun survival game. It does have some hiccups, but the gameplay loop was always fun. I only wish there was more time in-game to explore all the character stories.
