After saving Haven City once again, Jak and Daxter find themselves poisoned forced into competition on the international car-racing circuit by the execution of Krew's will. Featuring over a dozen customizable vehicles designed with unique handling characteristics, players will race their whip through 20 tracks in eight different terrain arenas. With an assortment of power-ups available, including projectile weapons, mines, ranged weapons, turbo boosts, shields, and smart bombs, players should have the means necessary to ensure they're the first to cross the finish line. The game supports both offline and online multiplayer. Offline multiplayer is the typical two-player split-screen multiplayer. Online multiplayer is playable with up to five other players. Both modes feature the same game types, which are the same as the single player except that human players are replacing the AI.

I'm surprised I don't see more racing game fans that talk about this game because it is one of the most satisfying arcade racers I've ever experienced. The handling model reminds me a lot of Burnout 3 and the feedback on all the weapons is super satisfying. The only complaints I have is that the campaign is a little long and the Rush Hour mode is a little aggravating (which is fine cuz you can just skip it.) But besides that the driving is excellent, the vehicle variety is good (with some unlockable bonus vehicles too!), the customization is shockingly good, and overall this game is just a good time from start to finish. Also HOO BABY THAT SOUNDTRACK RIPS

Surprised just how fun this is. A lot of it has to do with the insane physics. Similar to CTR, it feels great once you''ve gotten used to the controls and are tearing through races. There are a lot of gameplay modes that keep things from getting stale during the story. Ignoring the auto save bug, my one issue is the Peace Maker weapon being a blue shell item. Using a red eco weapon you can stop any yellow eco weapon from hitting you except the blue shell. It requires specifically a shield to fend off or falling back to second so it changes targets. Soundtrack goes crazy hard and it's nice to have one more adventure with the gang.

dude the driving physics in this game kick ass and the different missions are all really fun. it has a pretty decent story mode but that’s still enough to get engaged with the game. honestly all this game needed to be popular and gather some cult following was better rubberbanding and less jank weapons. this game rules and the environments are amazing! oh by rhe way i memorized the entire intro cutscene word bu word, funniest shit i can whip out anytime i want.

“we have mario kart at home”

Solid story and gameplay for a racing game. I especially liked the alternative game modes in the campaign.

I was so bad at this when I was a kid lmao but that OST IS BANGING
