Karate is a video game for the Atari 2600 originally published by Ultravision in 1982 for NTSC systems, then re-released in the latter half of the 1980s by Froggo. Supposedly the game was designed by black belt Joseph Amelio. In 1991, Digital Press chose Karate as one of the worst Atari 2600 games of all time.

Awful clunky controls with slower than molasses movement and glitchy collision logic.

Barely functioning game. Breaking it for achievements was a fun way to spend 15 minutes tho lol.

Oh man it's pretty bad. Often regarded as one of the worst games on the console, Karate is stiff and boring, a vision into a world where karate is closer to a slap-fight than a martial art. You can beat it without getting hit, you can beat it by pummeling your opponent until they crumple from repeated head kicks. Genuinely bleak fun for the whole family (if for any reason you hate your family.
