Fuck super monkey ball this is where its at

Essentially a Wii Monkey Ball game that genuinely came out on the same day as a new Wii Monkey Ball game and that is much better than the Wii Monkey Ball game oh my days

This is kind of unrelated to kororinpa but I love my girlfriend

I had wanted to play this game for years just because I thought it looked like it might scratch a similar itch to Monkey Ball for a long time, and I finally played through it with my girlfriend when she modded her Wii. What a fucking awesome and lesbian ass game we chose.

Kororinpa has some of the most charming level designs from a visual standpoint in any game like this, the music is a fucking slapper, and the motion controls in the game are easily a top tier use of the Wii remote in history, as it feels incredibly fluent and addictive controlling your marble around giant plates of gelatin and city skylines. It never gets horribly difficult which I actually find refreshing for this kind of game, although the difficulty does ramp up in a rather devious way and some levels will have you on edge tilting your remote ever so slightly with baited breath. It's maybe the most underrated Wii game I've ever played right next to Pokepark. Also the marbles make cute sounds.

this game sparked rage in me like nothing ever has before and yet it remains one of the greatest games i have ever played

I have no idea where Kororinpa came from, but when we were young it was the best thing we knew. We played it, challenged even the hardest levels and eventually, beat it. Kororinpa was the first game that got me hooked on collecting skins. Kororinpa was the only game that managed to fully utilize wii remote's motion sensing ability. I miss Kororinpa
