Pretty cool! Lots of jank, but you definitely sign up for that type of jank, as it wears its influences on its sleeve. The sound and music, along with the chilling visuals, set a great tone, and while the story is short and simple, it has interesting themes you can dig into. The last stretch is a LITTLE annoying though, even for me.

extremely pretty. captures the sort of necessity to learn the control scheme of every early 3d game perfectly.

Lovely little game that captures the appeal of PS1 survival horror absolutely perfectly. Honestly, it's kinda nuts how dead-on the presentation is here, and I really like the mid-game introduction of first person puzzles. They're small, but it plays with the fixed-camera setup in a way I really like, and made exploring the manor that much more compelling to me.

It's short, sweet, and ends exactly when it needs to. I hope the developers make another game like it, they've clearly got a lot of love for the genre.

A bit clunky and chonky, but in the good way that only reinforces the tension of the survival horror and the overall PS2 vibes that ooze out of every frame of gameplay, while ending just before it overstays its welcome.

Neat game, really nails the classic survival horror aesthetic and atmosphere. The combat's okay and the music can be really nice. The manor is pretty well-designed but the game is so short that there feels like a lot of missed potential. The point and click aspect feels really unnecessary since almost everything you click on in the environment could've just been handled with a simple A press like every other survival horror game. Overall I think the game is quite good, only dropped it because the little escort mission at the end with the boulders ticked me off when I died afterwards and had to redo it because of limited saves.

Cute little game. I think for what it goes for a throw back game, it hits pretty well on the feelings it gives me. I really liked the look and the music of this game.

The combat and the camera can be the biggest frustration. The camera led to some real bullshitty feeling deaths or cheap hits from enemies. There was also a couple points where it was too much of a pain in the ass to go back somewhere because I went the wrong direction, and it was easier to just get die and reload my save.
