The only reason i'm not giving this a half star is because my girlfriend did get some brief enjoyment out of this (mainly because she liked dressing up her pets and giving them people names).
This one is a real swing and miss. I got it under the assumption it was very much going to be a Nintendogs sort of experience.

The best way to describe this game is corporate attempt to fill the Nintendogs Switch market. Uninspired. Unimaginative. Somehow getting a sequel.
The only use for this game is making a dog-loving person happy for all of 30 minutes, or if you really don't want to get your kid a real pet. Even then. Probably better off to not.
There are some great games on Switch, some of the best of this generation. This shell of a game is not one of them.

So so so boring. So boring. And they force you to get a dog first. I wanted a cat first. But I didn't get to the cat because the game was so boring I stopped playing it.
