doing a deep dive of rance and this sure is a text adventure from 1987, i love the part where you don't get told basic things and have to use a walkthrough to know how to do anything. especially when it's pivotal to progress and the game doesn't drop as much as a hint and makes up random shit to the point the final boss is unbeatable without a guide :).
