I don't think this game requires much explanation on what it is, but I will give you a good review anyway.

Furry Shades of Gay is a visual novel type of game with Match 3 puzzle gameplay between each branching story option. Your success in the Match 3 game at each branch affects the choices you can select, though most of the time you can select freely as getting the choices unlocked is rather easy.

The gameplay is solid and fun, the artwork and animation are actually pretty good and honestly hot, and the writing is decent, but nothing ground breaking. The game does have voice acted scenes, but some sounds were not entirely realistic and sometimes broke the immersion a little bit. It's easy to tell that this game isn't your regular shovelware hentai game out here on steam. You can tell that there was actual effort put into the game and I enjoyed that more than anything else in the game.

Other than that I don't really have much to say about this one, it's porn, it's furry. It's pretty alright and I enjoyed 100% it. It's very much 100% gay, but I'm sure you got that from the name alone. If you want this kind of content, it's a good recommendation for it, and I think the price of it isn't half bad either. I definitely recommend it.

Not bad but the eagle dude looks like a penguins of madagascar character
not fond of him

O que eu to fazendo da minha vida?......

it was cool, i guess, needed more scenes

The match 3 gameplay is quite good and very satisfying. That said, the art is so varying in quality it'd be hard to recommend the game without a disclaimer; unfortunately a complaint I have about the sequel as well.

I'm not exactly what you'd consider a furry. Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate anthro art from time to time, and have no personal issues with the subculture as a whole, but I personally have not engaged enough with said subculture enough to even consider myself casually part of it. That being said, I do enjoy gay sex, so I figured I was at least half of this game's demographic.

Anyway, the stories are, for the most part, pretty short. Honestly, maybe a bit too short; oftentimes it felt like characters barely even started talking before one was inside the other. It's a little unfortunate, since I enjoyed the non-sexual character interactions far more than the H-Scenes. And, about those, I really didn't find any of them personally all that appealing. Again, that's more just a personal thing, as my preference in general leans more towards effeminate twinks, and more, er, human-like faces. That being said, if you like more rugged, animalistic types, you'll likely get more out of this than me.

Gameplay wise, I think the concept of having multiple goals within the Match-3 sections lead to different branches is pretty neat, but the Match-3 itself leads a lot to be desired. It feels unfair to compare to HuniePop, but if you're looking for more of that quality of gameplay, this isn't the place. With all honesty, the Match-3 might have been better off left out, since it really just interrupts the flow of the stories more often than not.

Basically, this game is what it says it is. If the previews draw you in, you'll likely enjoy it. If not, don't go in expecting to be surprised by anything.
