Manor Lords

released on Apr 26, 2024

Manor Lords is a strategy game that allows you to experience the life of a medieval lord. Grow your starting village into a bustling city, manage resources and production chains, and expand your lands through conquest. Inspired by the art and architecture of late 14th century Franconia, Manor Lords prioritizes historical accuracy wherever possible, using it to inform gameplay mechanics and visuals alike. Common medieval tropes are avoided in favor of historical accuracy, in order to make the world feel more authentic, colorful, and believable.

carai que jogo divertido da porra

geralmente não jogo muito city buildins, mas esse aqui me pegou. Vou continuar jogando ai eventualmente e esperando novas atualizações.

Unless silksong comes out this is going to be the best game I play this year

Bem divertido e com muito potencial, não jogo muito city builders mas esse me pegou bem fácil. Por ainda estar em early access, sinto que o jogo ainda está num estado bem "cru" mas pretendo voltar pra ele quando tiver conteúdo novo.

This is such an incredible city builder and introduces new ways to build a city that I haven't seen before. Other city builders could learn from this game.

I really liked what I played but I reached the end of what you can really do in Early Access, so I retiring this game for now but I will definitely pick it back up as they add more features. This game is super promising!

I might be a dumb-dumb city-builder casual, but Manor Lords seems more sizzle than steak at the moment. It's genuinely impressive that this is a solo-developed game, but it also very much shows: the realistic style does nothing but hamper performance, there are a billion cool sounding features that were just not ready for release (specifically all the customization stuff), and the balancing is kinda whack. I appreciate the ambition, but pan Greg definitely needs to hire some talent to eventually make this worth the price of admition, because, after the novelty of the experience wears off, it becomes clear just how little there is to do in Manor Lords. Will definitely be rooting for this one, but it's currently just not very interesting.

In the meantime, go buy Farthest Frontier (my beloved)
