Moai is a weird casual-esque time management game that for some reason got ported to PC. I bought it as a joke but i gotta say, its at least a nice time eater.

The game takes place in some random island you just ended up on. For some reason there is a weird story plastered on it but I ignored it for the most part, at least until I started reading some random dialogues. Turns out, the story is so shitty its fun, some characters say things so unhinged I ended up laughing, so hey, extra points in the story front just for its sillyness

The gameplay as I already stated is a casual time management game, there are around 60 levels and in each one you will be tasked with some missions. Build farms, build trees and even build moais! As you probably already figured out, the missions are always around building something, but there is enough variety in the scenery just so you never get bored while doing so.

Perhaps the only remarkable thing about the game is its pacing, i thought it would be a repetitive gameplay cycle (which it is) but at least it tries to constantly innovate by adding new mechanics, for example, moais wont appear until level 2 , and they appear with phantoms, the first (and only) enemy the game throws at you. Surprinsingly enough, the game never stops innovating, even the last levels have something new, if inconsequential to the main gameplay cycle, it was nice to say new levels to each structure being added at the last stretch.

Anyways its an okay game, sadly I bought the full collection so i guess i will be doing a review for each one of them, surely this formula wont get annoying and boring 7 games in!!!
