A game about hunting and collecting mushrooms, namely morels. Fun and (for the most part) chill experience. You collect morels to earn points, which lets you travel and upgrade gear. You can even purchase travel methods, like a horse.

It's an ambitious game made by brothers. You can tell by the game updates and feedback that they care about this project. I did experience a couple of bugs; but I have emailed their support and they have been kind and patient.

You can't kill or harm the animals. The predators can attack you, but there's no gory or bloody details. There's not much to interact with in the environments other than picking up mushrooms and taking photographs. I loved taking pictures and you can look through your Polaroid photos in a book.

The zones showcase different ecosystems around USA. The attention to detail is superb. The textures on the ground, rocks, and trees and foliage look amazing. It felt I was truly walking through a Midwest farm to a Redwood forest.

The game does look realistic with shadows and bright sunlight. However, I do wish there was a way to adjust the brightness. It easily caused eyestrain. The predators do need more of a presence. I can't count how many times I accidentally walked into a bear or wolf because I was intently staring at the ground to find mushrooms; only then to be attacked and have a mini heart attack because of the jump scare.
