NCIS (Wii) attempts to translate the investigative drama of the TV series into a video game, but it falls short. The gameplay consists of simplified point-and-click searching, basic puzzles, and repetitive minigames related to forensics. While the core cases might initially appeal to fans of the show, the shallow mechanics, awkward presentation, and lack of true challenge make this a tedious experience rather than an engaging investigation.

I'm more used to "an hour of NCIS solving a murder" not "interminable dialogue dumps about NCIS fighting an international terrorist cell" to be honest. Really bad plot that keeps inventing reasons to add more bloat to the point of incredulity.

This is another one of those games that makes you question: how is this a game? What would you even do in this game? Well, let me tell you. Some inane and seriously unfunny dialogue. Go to the crime scene. Click on some things. Some terrible one liner from the "funny" character. Play a boring mini game. Click on some more things. Go back to the forensics lab. More clicking and boring mini games. An achievement pops every time you touch the controller. Goth girl keeps talking about how great she is. Some dude walks in and shouts "deduction board". Rinse and repeat 4 times. Game over. No I have not seen NCIS, and after playing this I have even less interest in watching it. It all just seems very low effort. If there is one enjoyable thing about NCIS, it's that the voice actor for one of the characters sounds like a robot. Unless you are a huge NCIS fan (do they exist?), avoid.

"it was point and click mostly. but ya got to put clues
together too. some small puzzles as well. it really made
me feel like i was in an episode of NCIS with the cool
intro to each episode"

Yeah… but hey this only took like five hours to platinum 😂 Mitchell wanted to hangout but I made him wait till I plated the game so he went downstairs and watched tv.

i'm genuinely unsure how i both finished and enjoyed this game on the first play. i had a brief ncis phase like 10 years ago sure (i was a strange teenager who went through many things trying to figure out what she liked) but. i would do anything to get that sense of indiscriminate enjoyment back because i tried it again to be sure and bailed nearly immediately
