came across this game a bit too late, as it was released seven years ago. I got it during a Steam sale and was drawn to it because of the concept. Despite the poor and frankly ugly graphics, the game is fun and nerdy. I've played a good 40 hours and have earned more than half of the achievements. As others have mentioned, the game gets repetitive after a while. It would have been interesting to have new biomes and new traits with a DLC. However, I can see why people have a sense of nostalgia for the game; it is probably similar to what I feel for Spore.

i loved playing this as a kid but i can only bring myself to play this like once or twice a year if im lucky now. it is a super cool concept but it does get kinda repetitive after a while (i also just think you have to like warrior cats to like this game but thats a whole other debate)

Cute idea, but didn't really give me much reason to keep playing.

Maybe I'm stupid! I don't know! But the tutorial is not very good and the transition to 'okay now go play the game' is incredibly unforgiving! Which sucks, because I did want to enjoy this.

I played it quite a bit a few years ago and still have fond memories of it, but I'll say, I had more fun watching others play than playing it myself, and at some point it kinda just became me borderline doing eugenics to survive the harsher climates
