While I'm by no means pretty (unless your definition of "shaved gorilla" is wildly different from mine) I am both a boy and a dropout, so while there's still no New York guido twink in the cast, this entry is definitely the one I've felt the most personal representation in.

Jokes aside, I definitely think this is the best Otoko Cross entry to date. The general structure is similar to Breakup, which, if you read my review of that game, I mentioned was a great step in the right direction but needed some rebalancing to avoid grinding in the endgame. Well, this one does just that: the points system now ties directly into completion of the games objectives, meaning you'll unlock all the outfits through completion rather than grinding. A simple change, but one that fixed my only real issue with the previous entry.

For the gameplay itself, it is by far my favorite the series has done up to now. The basic mechanics are similar to the old Neopets game Destruct-o-Match, but with far more varied and interesting objectives beyond just combos. Even with my ADHD reptile brain, once I sat down to play I genuinely couldn't put it down until I beat every level and mission, and I'm confident I'll come back for more in the future. In short, it's pretty fun.

While some may say two releases in one month is milking these boys dry–I don't need to continue, because if that phrasing made you start frothing at the mouth, you're in the same boat as me and want as much of them as you can get, and I'm already eagerly awaiting the next release in this wonderful series.
