This is a hidden gem for fans of retro sports games. The gameplay is fun and there are lots of stadium, teams, and tournaments included.

The two areas I felt could be improved are difficulty and Career mode. I appreciate the inclusion of difficulty settings, but the team you choose also has a (in my opinion) disproportionate effect on the difficulty. I was regularly alternating between difficulty modes depending on what team I was using in order to get an even game. I could win easily on "normal" difficulty with a good team but struggled to win on that same difficulty with a bad team.

I was initially excited about the game having a Career mode, but it's overly repetitive and involves a lot of grinding to get your players up to a decent level. The scenarios are funny at first but the novelty wears off quickly once realizing there isn't much else to the mode. Playing with a low level team that doesn't have any of the special abilities the good teams have isn't as fun and the upgrade process is too slow.

These criticisms aside, I really admire what the team has made here. You can tell the developer is really passionate about soccer and it really shines through.
