Excited for when this is out of Early Access, as the core gameplay is there. Only a handful of the levels really stand out or wowed me though, and as much as I love Monkey Ball that game is large-in-part carried by the level design. Hopefully by the time the full game comes out there'll be more interesting levels and better use of mechanics but for now this is a very fun romp. Support the devs and pick this up if you have any interest in these style of games because Iunno if we're gonna get anything better anytime soon.

Very fun inspired monkey ball game.

The true Monkey Ball successor we all wanted. Great physics and level design from fans who get what made the series great. Perhaps cheeky to say I've beaten it (early access), but I cleared all difficulties in Challenge Mode available on launch day, and recleared it again once additional challenge modes and stages were available in August.

(Copy of Steam Review) The game still feels unfinished, even with it being in early access it's not a guarantee that it'll be improved upon. I love the original super monkey ball games and this game promised to be more of that, but it falls short for me at the moment. I do see the potential and hopefully with time there's more work put into the project so it can be a true successor to the original super monkey ball games.

even how it is right now in early access it is a very fun time

Rolled Out! is very early access, but the actual gameplay is so tight already that I feel confident in recommending it even at this early stage. All the levels I've played have embraced Super Monkey Ball's approach to encouraging shortcut taking and gameplay optimisation, and actually controlling the ball (both and low and high speed) feels fantastic.

I'm particularly looking forward to seeing what people do with the stage creation features, especially if the development team are able to cultivate a strong community of content creators and modders. This was one of my favourite things about the SMB community (albeit unofficially).

The major downside at this point is that the UI/UX is extremely lacklustre, so I'm looking forward to seeing the features that will be added moving forward in the game's development. In my opinion essential additions including leaderboards, custom level browsers, stat tracking and more would push this game beyond its predecessors and transform it into a true cult classic.

Has the potential to be my game of the year, but no promises just yet. Definitely still worth your money, especially for any diehard SMB1 or 2 fans.
