I like the style and energy of this game but playing it is really annoying in parts.

One of the biggest culprits is the dodge, which needs to be aimed and you need to take a moment to check the direction of the targeting line - which does slow the game down for you, but only after holding it for a while, which with the reaction time the game needs from you is often not enough. To make things worse, the invincibility frames on the dodge don't start right away, so you'll often get hit by stuff that it really doesn't feel you should have been hit by.

There's also some legibility issues on some stages, and the last stage is just a total nightmare in terms of being able to process what is even happening with me. It basically inverts the entire rules of the game up to that point and it's extremely confusing.

This is actually a great game that I can't muster up any emotion playing, like I'm enjoying it but I'm just thinking of what I'm gonna do next. Might come back later

"Wow rotagonist, you truly are... the ROTOFORCE" pissed my pants when i heard it

I played the demo and was a bit worried it would have a set route through the stages. Thankfully, after the first stage, you can pick between almost all of them. Unfortunately, most of the weapons seemed like shit to me, so it wasn't really interesting getting them.

Hard mode, unlocked after beating the game once, adds a lot more enemies per wave and remixes them up, including enemies from other stages. Maybe if I want to replay it in the future...
