SD Gundam Winner's History is a turn-based strategy game, with some action elements, part of Gundam franchise. Player controls a small army of robots and fights against enemy's army. Battles take place in various environments: space, atmosphere or planet's surface. Player has to occupy specific points and factories. These produce new work and larger space ships. Battle between robots is a duel 1:1 - robot can operate automatically or be manually controlled. Larger space ships can bombard enemy from safe place. Game has campaign, player can play on single map, and against other player.

Game Review - originally written by (wraith)

SD Gundam Winning History is a … different game. It's like a strategy game in that you have various units you move around to attack your foes. However, when you actually engage your foes, the game switches to a side-view action style game, where you fly around the battlefield and attempt to shoot your opponent into smithereens. Which would seem to kind of eliminate the whole strategy part.

I have an absolutely enormous soft spot for these tactical SD Gundam games ever since I played SD Gundam X for the SNES back in high school, and this one is no different! It's obviously stripped WAAAAYYYY back but it's super charming and a very, very good time killer!
