Shadwen is a true stealth game where the only rule is to remain unseen. Stay hidden – or the ruthless guards will kill you on sight! Shadwen, an assassin on a quest to kill the king, has a chance encounter with a little orphan girl named Lily. Shadwen takes Lily with her on the dangerous journey. When the guards get close, Shadwen must take action right in front of Lily's eyes. Will she let the child witness crime and murder, or will she protect Lily's innocence? To kill or not to kill - that is the question.

I've played this game. I've finished and mastered it and without knowing you can hide the bodies because I completely forgot about the one quick tutorial it gave. I went the entire game without killing a single person thinking it's how I need to play in order for the girl not to realize I'm an assassin and well, at least I got the achievements for this abysmal playthrough. Going on a murder spree on the replay was definitely a lot easier. The game is broken. Like 'NPC walking into the water and falling into the void each and every time you rewind time' broken. Accidentally killing who you weren't intending to by them as much as touching a moving object. Getting the child to move between locations was a broken mess all of its own. I have no idea what made me sit through and 100% this, but I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.

You can only play if you have severe insomnia or want to experience maximum negative emotions.

fun mechanics wrapped into very basic and repetetive experience. only reason i finished this is wanting to get a good ending for main characters.

We have Assassin's Creed at home. And a pretty repetitive one at that.

I think this game has some interesting ideas and I do like the setting and the whole "gotta look out for the child" element but I also have to admit that this game bores me. The levels are very repetitive and the AI of the guards is just way too easy to fool. You move a box or a barrel and they won't even check where the rope comes from. Generally speaking, the whole rope gameplay seems kinda buggy to me and I always have to laugh when my character dangles in the air like a sack of potatoes.
The time stopping aspect is interesting but it gives me a headache after a bit and I always end up toggling the time back to normal.
You can tell that the people working on this had a vision and that they put a lot of hard work into this game but I just can't carry on playing.
