A huge childhood favorite, but the core loop doesn't have a ton that's worth actually engaging in and sailing westward makes me think about dying, it's such a slog. Baron Raymondo's a bitch and I fucked his mom.

The best pirate game ever. I spent many hours when I was younger playing this game, if I could choose a game to be remade/remastered it would be this one!

I really wanted to like this game more than i did. Its charming and full of personality. But i just got a bit tired of the gameplay loop in the end. And i dont know if this was a glitch or i was just being really terrible at the game but sailng west was always a hassle or annoying. I googled it an i found forum posts that said i couldent just sail directly west. But rather sail side ways so my sails can catch the wind. Just found the enitre sailing part frustraiting and the rest the game had to offer just to shallow too fast sadly. Played with 3-4 different characters before i hanged my pirate coat and hat on the shelf

Why is dancing more difficult than dueling and sailing combined?

Idk, the game is just kind of fun to explore, pillage, have dumb rock paper scissors style sword/dancing where you have to read and time things out, etc. I'm super nostalgic for this game and it's just still to this day one of the better pirate games around sadly (and to it's own credit)
