I strongly suspect that this developer has both played and enjoyed Pikmin and Wind Waker. A very short game, and not particularly challenging. Smushi's key draw is simply how pleasantly the environs and soundtrack create a calming world to traverse for an afternoon.
I always enjoy a tastefully implemented adaptive OST, though I do wish the background music for traversing the final zone didn't fade out if you're swimming slowly. I wish that one went full blast regardless.

Smushi is an extremely nice and cozy game. Just pure chill fun. Lovely artstyle and great music as well.

I played this one over a few sittings, and it ran great on the Steam Deck. Playtime clocked in at 3.6 hours after credits rolled. I think the game was super cute, and the platforming was fun without ever being too difficult.

the silliest and cutest game!! you get to play as a tiny lil mushroom, what else could you want? it's the perfect game if you're looking for a chill platformer with cute characters and a wholesome story :)
