In Solomon's Keep, you move your wizard with one thumb, and fire magic spells with the other. As you destroy enemies, you earn experience points. Gain enough experience, and you'll gain a level, and can select new skills to help you ascend the tower. Along the way you'll find gold and magic items. Your helpful teachers are there to explain the ins and outs of wizarding, sell you a few useful items, and even give you a few tips to improve your skills. Along the way you'll encounter Solomon's skeletons, zombies, imps, and more. You might even encounter an undead king, and Solomon's meticulously reconstructed maggot vomiting skeletal dragon. You'll have a chance to master 21 skills and wield over 50 magic, rare, and epic weapons. With random dungeons and monsters, Solomon's Keep offers infinite replayability. It's never the same game twice! If you're fond of action RPGs, Solomon's Keep will satisfy your black heart.

A roguelike game from an era before roguelikes were even popular. One of the best mobile games without question. This game was amazing for it's time and the lines Solomon dark say to you are forever ingrained in my head. what can I say, stay awhile, STAY FOREVER.

It has definitely aged a bit as more roguelikes have came out though, the layout variety is extremely basic and the standard walking speed is far too slow for how much backtracking you may need to do if you wanted to explore each room and collect every chest.

This was one of my favorite games back in the early days of the app store, maybe my favorite game that wasn't just a port of an old computer game. Believe it or not this game has a small but vocal fanbase that seems to have basically been begging the developer for a remake for years. Supposedly it's somewhere in the pipeline, but unfortunately (like with many other things these days) up-to-date information on the developer's games seems to reside primarily in a Discord server.

Really good for a mobile game. Roguelike where you travel through procedurally generated levels and level up to upgrade your wizard powers. Boneyard is the better game as this in linear whereas Boneyard is essentially a horde mode, but for some reason it isn’t on Backloggd.
