Sonic 2 XL is a hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Mega Drive by Captain Bozo and Ranger. Rings are replaced with onion rings, and Sonic becomes fatter after eating them.

A surprisingly fun mod that makes for a rather unique challenge. Fat Sonic is funniest Sonic. Good luck getting through Hilltop Zone on your first time through.
