The PlayStation 2 and Wii version of Spider-Man 3, a videogame based on the 2007 movie of the same name. The gameplay in this version closely resembles that of its next-generation counterpart, with the main difference being that the combat system primarily takes place on the ground. The primary features of the Wii version are motion controls. By flicking the Wii Remote & Nunchuck, the player can perform various actions such as combat, and one of Spider-Man's trademark abilities, web swinging. There are also certain mini-games tailored to the motion controls.

Spider-Man 3 for the Wii offers a decent base experience with exciting web-swinging through New York City, but it ultimately falls short. The story loosely follows the film with added subplots, and the combat system, while initially fun, grows repetitive. Glitches, lackluster graphics, and dull side missions mar the experience. While dedicated Spider-Man fans might find some enjoyment in the core swinging and combat, Spider-Man 3 is a largely disappointing adaptation.
