Why is the Platform not cited as being on PC when it is? Where's the Missile Launching Spaceship that I remember seeing on WildTangent where I first got this game?
This is something I think Backloggd missed the mark on, because the game itself has a simplicity to it which I can't put into words. It gets a 7/10 for being too generic (with only 2 side weapons in the form of straight missiles and homing missiles), but this genericness is ironically what makes it so easy to come back to it. Whenever I want to turn my brain off and play a simple shooter, I play SD2. You can only move left to right at the bottom of the battlefield, where you shoot the enemies above you - you lose power upon taking damage, and you scale faster the deeper in the game you go. This is not a bad thing - it's actually what I like about it; it's unique.
