Super Mario Bros. Z: The Game is a fan game made in Unity based on the Super Mario Bros. Z animated series by Mark "Alvin Earthworm" Haynes. The game is a 1 on 1 fighting game starring the characters from the animated series, which borrows characters from the Mario and Sonic universes. The game is based on the original series, not the reboot, and is actually the second Super Mario Bros. Z game by the same creator.

It's peak
This is perfect.
This game is surprisingly good. It has some combo and move systems that I didn't get right yet, but it still has lots of potential. I don't know about fighting game specificities, but it sure is fun to play. And it gets the the soul of the animation pretty well. Very good for a lone person fan project.
