in the midst of a gargantuan effort by an entire team to try to make freedom wars 2, god (bandai namco) asked its devs "but what would kirito think about it". everyone in the room agreed that answering that question would make the game worse. thus, this game was born.

ok but its also weirdly bisexual thanks bamco for letting me date girls as a girl i guess????

good enough for a sao / anime game

Loved making my OC and my second OC and playing as them and kinda liked the new original characters of the game. The story is awful tho and does not make sense half the time. Kirito is annoying af and the only plus i could say is that i got to see Sinon. The game is saved by gameplay and music.

Not terrible but a lot of the mechanics are janky, there wasn't much enemy variety especially later in the game (i swear i fought 4 bipedal giant robots back to back as story bosses) and obscure true endings fucking suck ass. Definitely my second least favorite of the SAO games so far.

This game is at its best when we're not forced to be part of Kirito's harem. Unfortunately, the devs felt then need to shoehorn Kirito into the plot. That sucks because the core shooting mechanics are actually pretty fun. Fatal Bullet had the potential to be a good game, but it comes just shy of it.
